
Assistant Coach Jason Plummer

Jason Plummer begins his first season as an assistant coach with the University of Hawai'i swimming and diving program.
This is his second coaching job. His only other was a one-year stint in 1998 as an assistant coach at Nevada for current UH head coach Mike Anderson.
Plummer is a 1993 graduate of Stanford where he acquire his B.A. in psychology. He would go on to earn his M.B.A. from UCLA in 1998.
His accomplishments in swimming are numerous. Before heading to college, he was a member of the Australian Swim Team from 1985-89. During that stretch, he set a record and became a champion at the 1986 Commonwealth Games.
During his college career, Plummer earned Pac-10 honors all four years for the Cardinal. In 1988, he was atop his game winning the World Surf Race, Australian Surf Race, and finished fourth at the Olympics.
Plummer has been all across the country since college. He has held various positions at financial institutions and even founded his own company - GPSKIDS, INC. He currently works for Crystal Bay Properties Inc., in Crystal Bay, Nev., where he is the CEO for the company.
He enjoys golf, skiing, bridge, as well as holding a commercial pilot's license.
