Keehi Lagoon is located 20 minutes from UH and Waikiki and five minutes from Honolulu International Airport. Spectating should be excellent from shore with trade winds blowing 10-25 kts day and night. You will probably not need foul weather gear with the 80-degree water and air. ENTRY FEE There will be a $100 entry fee per team for Dingy and Women's events and $150 per team for the Team Race event. BOATS The regattas will be sailed in Vanguard Flying Juniors. TRAVEL Panda Travel, which has an office located within the University of Hawaii Athletic Department, will be available to work with you for air travel, ground transportation and hotel accommodations. Group bookings (15 or more) can be secured as long as they travel on the same dates. Panda Travel can book bulk rate on Continental (less than 15) and hold space for an extended period of time. This means you can make reservations prior to qualifying and finalize the payment after securing a berth. This year, the University of Hawaii flew on Continental to the North American Championships with airfare at $664. Panda Travel has hotel/car packages with hotel space starting at $45 per night.
