My staff and I would like to take this time to introduce myself and tell you about the University of Hawai'i and our basketball program. My name is Riley Wallace, and I am the head basketball coach here in Honolulu.

We feel we have a great deal to offer a young man academically and athletically. Academically, our university offers a wide variety of challenging pursuits leading to degrees in numerous areas including the various humanities, sciences, and business administration, among others.

Athletically, we compete in the always tough Western Athletic Conference (WAC). Additionally, as part of our non-conference schedule, we are the host for the Rainbow Classic, the only pre-season eight-team tournament in the nation. The Classic attracts some of the best teams in major college basketball! We also have a television package, which will ensure National Television exposure for our basketball player, and in 1994 we built a new on campus 10,000 seat arena.
