1996-97: Lived up to all the expectations placed upon him prior to the season…was named the WAC Pacific Division Player-of-the-Year as well as being selected to the league's All-Newcomer and All-Defensive teams…was listed among the nation's leaders in assists, scoring, and steals…led the team in scoring (18.7 ppg), assists (6.6) and steals (2.7)…recorded 15 points and five assists in his Hawai'i debut versus Texas-Pan American (11/26/96)…scored 32 points at Wyoming (2/13/97)…dished out 13 assists against Ball State (12/15/96)…scored more than 20 points 11 times and more than 30 points twice…recorded three double-doubles (points/assists) against Ball State, UNLV and at Colorado State…named to the Hawai'i-Nike Festival, United Airlines Tip-off Tournament, the Power Bar Men's Basketball Invitational, and the Rainbow Classic all-tournament teams.

Saddleback CC: He led the California Association of Community College with a 27.4 point per game scoring average…also averaged 6.5 rebounds, 5.4 assists, and 3.0 steals per contest…captured two different tournament Most Valuable Players awards while also going on to be named the Orange Empire Conference Most Valuable Player…scored 30 or more points on 13 occasions, highlighted by a 44-point outburst against Southwestern…led the team in scoring in 30-of-33 games while being the high rebounder in 12 contests…besides scoring, he led the Gauchos in assists (178), steals (99), and field goals (324)…was second on team in rebounds (216) and blocked shots (32)…set a school record with 14-straight made free throws against Riverside…left Saddleback C.C. as the career leader in both total points (1,530) and free throws made (309)…played for Head Coach Bill Brummel.

High School: A 1994 graduate of Alonzo A. Crim High School in Atlanta…lettered in both basketball and football…he earned Most Valuable Player and all-state honors in basketball…played for Head Coach Henry Adams (basketball) and Willie Lester (football)…led his AAU 18-under team to the 1992-93 championships.

Personal: Born June 16, 1975…nicknamed A.C.…aspires to someday coaching after completing his degree…favorites are Shawn Kemp, Bruce Lee, pizza, and the musical group Tupac…craziest thing he ever did was bungy jump…mother is Brenda Carter of Atlanta.
